Appt in osteo clinic yesterday. Bone density study, results showed I am holdin' my own. Was told it is unusual to come from a negative 2 a positive result the past few years. All I need do is continue to take calcium & vit D & muck aka clean Hershey's stall & groom him. That kind of activity has made my bones stronger! Thx be 2 God! Dr Casey Vague said I could prob be 'back in my saddle again" in 6 weeks! Of course all my activity MUST be within 'limitations' & I am now ok w/that! WooHoo God is Good...'bamaVickie

Glad to hear you received such a good report. i am a very strong believer in supplements. If you could only see the crate full iI take--but they work. One for the home team!

jingle thanks so much! I was so GLAD to hear the results of my bone density study. For it to have reversed it's self is quite awesome IMO! I will be so glad when my orthopedic surgeon gives me the ok to again be 'back in the saddle' again! 'bamaVickie

Hope your riding again soon, getting away on a horse is good free therapy. Free by no means but better than a therapist!

Thx so much kter I know that riding helps me so much. I am only doing a walk w/occasional trot and my little horse is just my size. He does a lateral pacing gait when he trots and thus is very 'smooth'....I will see the orthopedic surgeon on July 2nd and then sutures will be removed and I hopefully can at least groom my little therapy horse. Maybe in 6 wks I will again be able to be back in the saddle again. I have not ridden in a year...a very long time! I actually have a tee shirt that says, "I ride my therapist every day"....lol....'bamaVickie

Vickie... Your post is so positive and encouraging. I can hear you singing, "I'm back in the saddle again. I'm back in the saddle again..." In tune or not...KEEP ON SINGING! Gary
